Military Installations

Progressive’s principals and staff have worked on a variety of environmental and engineering tasks for military installations including MacDill AFB, Luke AFB, Kirtland AFB, Fort Gordon, Key West Naval Air Station, and Jacksonville Naval Air Station. Such experience included: site assessment, baseline surveys, endangered species surveys, integrated natural resources management plans, lift station design/build, restoration of wastewater septic system and drain fields, wastewater treatment plant permitting, design of spray irrigation systems, oil-water separator inspection/evaluation, firing range assessments, groundwater and soil sampling/analyses, delineation of jet fuel and other contaminant plumes, RCRA Solid Waste Management Unit (SWMU) assessments (i.e., landfills, petroleum and chlorinated solvent spills), and design of various remedial solutions.

Progressive has significant CERCLA experience ranging from remedial investigation/feasibility studies (RI/FS) to remedial design/remedial actions (RD/RA). Progressive’s personnel have worked on more than 20 Superfund sites throughout the United States. Services at these CERCLA sites included RI/FS work plans and implementation, RD/RA work plans, design, design/build, and/or construction management, project management, community relations, and reporting (e.g., O&M manuals, construction completion reports, monitoring plans/reports, contingency plans).
